Join us at VivaTech 2024 for a front-row seat to innovation

Join fire on the hill at vivatech paris 24
With VivaTech 2024 just 24 hours away, our team is gearing up to attend with a delegation from the UK and the US. This follows months of hard work supporting the event’s media efforts as the agency of record in both markets.

It has been a pleasure to work with the VivaTech team once more.

Following the great success of VivaTech 2023, which attracted 150,000 attendees from 174 countries, over 11,400 start-ups, and 450 speakers, this year promises to be just as ground-breaking.

We are thrilled to be an official partner and to contribute to the event’s ongoing success. Let’s look deeper at what VivaTech 2024 has in store for us, who’s speaking, what start-ups are appearing and what we professional communicators can discover at the event.

Hear from the world’s greatest speakers

VivaTech is well known for bringing together the world’s leading tech innovators. Previous years have featured Mark Zuckerberg, Marc Benioff, Satya Nadella, Tim Cook, and Jack Ma, among many others.

This year doesn’t disappoint.

Among the notable figures in attendance are Venus and Serena Williams, who will discuss their involvement with the investment platform Shares, highlighting the intersection of sports and finance. Clara Shih, CEO of Salesforce AI, will explore how AI is revolutionising customer relationship management, while Werner Vogels, CTO of Amazon, will speak about leveraging AI for societal benefits.

Adding to the excitement, Linda Yaccarino, CEO of X (formerly Twitter), will delve into the transformation of content creation and distribution in the digital age using advanced technologies like AI and blockchain. Mitchell Baker, Executive Chair of Mozilla, will tackle the impact of technology on democracy and the importance of designing tech that supports inclusive participation and privacy.

Aude Gandon, Global CMO of Nestlé, will offer a communicator’s perspective and share insights on integrating sustainability into business models to drive societal and corporate benefits.

This confluence of tech leaders and visionaries at VivaTech 2024 promises to set new paradigms for innovation and collaboration in the global tech ecosystem

And if this list of speakers weren’t enough, just today, it was announced that Emmanuel Macron and Elon Musk will be joining once again. The French President will speak on ‘making Paris a key place for AI’ in the world, while the tech visionary will open up in a session titled ‘Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Elon* (*But Were Afraid to Ask)’.

The fantastic thing about VivaTech is the combination of big tech and innovative new start-ups. This year’s edition will spotlight an impressive array of newcomers who will unveil their solutions at the event’s various Innovation Parks.

In the Mobility and Smart City Park, sponsored by Togg, start-ups like Pave Motors and Wingcopter are revolutionising transportation and logistics. Pave Motors introduces high-end electric motorcycles designed to promote an emissions-free lifestyle, while Wingcopter focuses on improving global healthcare access and delivery through advanced drone technology.

The AI Avenue, sponsored by Salesforce, features start-ups like Oxia Palus and Primaa, which are pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence. Oxia Palus uses AI alongside spectroscopic imaging and 3D printing to recreate lost artworks, whereas Primaa is developing AI-driven platforms for accurate and automated cancer diagnosis.

In the Retail & Logistics Park, innovative companies like Lunu and Releaf are transforming the shopping experience and promoting sustainability. Lunu enables seamless cryptocurrency transactions at points of sale, and Releaf is pioneering eco-friendly paper technology made from recycled leaves, reducing deforestation.

Furthermore, the Sport Park showcases start-ups like Astreas and Hypershell, which enhance athletic performance through technological advancements. Astreas develops food products optimised for spaceflight and promotes nutritional innovation, while Hypershell offers an AI-assisted device that augments physical movement and is aimed at outdoor enthusiasts.

These start-ups represent just a slice of the creative energy and entrepreneurial spirit that will be on full display at VivaTech 2024, underlining the event’s role as a critical platform for launching future technologies that aim to reshape industries and improve lives globally.

Explore brand reputation with the Exec and CMO tracks

Fellow communicators have plenty to see at VivaTech, too, with our very own Co-Founder, Christopher Clarke, speaking on the critical importance of trust in fostering innovation within organisations. Chris will be joined on stage by Neil Rogan, Global Director of Corporate External Communications and Digital Marketing, Amadeus, with their discussion delving into how ethical practices and transparent communication are essential for maintaining a company’s social license to operate, aligning perfectly with the track’s broader focus on ethical marketing strategies.

Additionally, the CMO track will feature a variety of engaging discussions on how marketing has transformed into a service-oriented approach, emphasising personalised customer experiences to drive business success. Another key area of focus will be the advancements in CRM technologies. Here, participants will explore how AI and analytics revolutionise how businesses interact with their customers, offering insights into achieving deeper customer loyalty and enhancing business growth.

The track will also address the disruptive impacts of new technologies like AI on marketing, presenting opportunities for businesses to expand and engage customers more effectively. Through these discussions, marketers will gain valuable strategies to navigate the complex landscape of consumer perceptions and regulatory challenges, ensuring their marketing strategies are effective and responsibly aligned with current ethical and social standards.
