About the project

Challenge

To establish Siemens Gamesa as a leading and trusted pioneer in the wind energy industry through its social media presence, while ensuring consistency and creativity in its approach. Siemens Gamesa’s tone and presence across its corporate social media channels were similar to that of its competitors, lacking a defined voice in the space. ​

Approach

Fire on the Hill worked closely with the Siemens Gamesa communications team to review and align its existing social media strategy. A core part of this strategy was to define a creative campaign-led approach and develop a number of strategic, business unit-led campaigns that had longevity and were complementary to each other.

Fire on the Hill helped Siemens Gamesa to develop brand differentiation by using a more accessible tone, while using visual assets to create more original, sharable content. Fire on the Hill also ensured that all campaigns were aligned and amplified by the various Siemens Gamesa executives who had a social media presence. ​

Results

To date, Fire on the Hill has launched 6 campaigns and successfully increased metrics across the board for Siemens Gamesa’s LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels.​
